Man Arrested In Glasgow On Suspicion Of Drug Offences
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s (PSNI) Organised Crime Branch, with assistance from colleagues in Police Scotland, have arrested a man in Glasgow today, Wednesday, 10 September.
The 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of fraudulently importing a Class B controlled drug, conspiracy to supply a Class B controlled drug, and being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug. He was brought to Northern Ireland by the PSNI’s Cross Border Arrest and Transit Team and is currently in custody. Detective Inspector Pyper said the arrest was an "excellent reflection of collective efforts" to tackle organised crime. He stated that the police, along with their partners, will "continue to work tirelessly" to stop the supply of illegal drugs. DI Pyper also appealed to anyone with information or concerns to contact police on 101.
