Man Charged With Arson Attack In Co Down
A man has been charged with arson after a parked car was set on fire on Co Down.
The incident happened in the Shorelands Crescent area of Cloughey in the early hours of Thursday morning, 23 June.
The 29-year-old suspect is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court today, 24 June.
The charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
An 18-year-old man arrested in connection with the the same incident has been released pending a report to the PPS.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.

The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Seven Charged With Strickland Murder
A fourth man has been charged with the murder of Phillip Strickland in Comber last week, bringing the total to seven. The 36-year-old was found in a car on Quarry Road, off the Ballydrain Road, near Comber on Wednesday last. He had been shot several times and was declared dead in hospital a short time later.

Man arrested over Electoral Office fraud
A 58-year-old man from Co Tyrone has been arrested and charged following a police investigation into irregularities at an Electoral Office in the west of the province. The man was charged with 30 offences, 17 of which relate to theft and 13 of fake accounting. He will appear before a court in Omagh on November 11.
