Teenager Attacked In West Belfast

An 18-year-old man has been attacked in west Belfast.

The incident happened on the Stewartstown Road in the Twinbrook area at around 2.30am on Saturday, 23 July.

The victim sustained several injuries including a broken jaw.

Five other men are believed to have been involved in the attack.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Attacked In West Belfast
A man has been seriously attacked in west Belfast. The victim, 20, had both his legs broken and suffered facial injuries in the assault in the Carnamore Park area on Tuesday night. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them immediately.

Pensioner Attacked And Mugged In West Belfast
A pensioner has been attacked and mugged in west Belfast. The incident happened in the Devinish Court area just after 6pm on Tuesday. It is believed the elderly woman was attacked by a man and her handbag was stolen. She was taken to hospital to be treated, however her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Two Women Attacked In West Belfast Car Hijacking
Two women have been attacked by a gang of men during a car hijacking in west Belfast. The women, in their 50s, were sitting in a Vauxhall Astra in McDonnell Street at around 1.30am on Friday. A gang of four men approached the car, opened the doors, assaulted the women and ordered them out of the vehicle.

Pensioner assaulted in west Belfast
A pensioner has been attacked outside a bookmaker's in west Belfast. The 81-year-old man was in a car on the Springfield Road when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was brandishing a hammer. He suffered bruising to his arm after raising it to protect himself. Meanwhile, two men have been injured in an attack at their home in Co Tyrone.

Women attacked with tar in west Belfast
Police are appealing for information after two women were attacked and covered in tar in their west Belfast home at the weekend. Three hooded men smashed the front windows of a house in Hopewell Crescent in the Shankill area at about 6.50pm on Sunday before entering the property and throwing a tar-like substance over the two women.
