Two Men Attacked In West Belfast

Two men have been assaulted by a group of men armed with hammers in west Belfast.

The attack happened on Conway Street at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 08 March.

The men were approached by approximately five or six males while they were in a parked vehicle.

The two victims were treated in hospital for their injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Attacked In West Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a woman was attacked in west Belfast. A number of men armed with batons forced their way into a house in the Laurelbank area of Poleglass just after 7.30pm on Wednesday, 18 January, and assaulted the victim. The men smashed the windows of the property and two cars that were parked outside.

Women attacked with tar in west Belfast
Police are appealing for information after two women were attacked and covered in tar in their west Belfast home at the weekend. Three hooded men smashed the front windows of a house in Hopewell Crescent in the Shankill area at about 6.50pm on Sunday before entering the property and throwing a tar-like substance over the two women.

Police Attacked By Young People In West Belfast
The PSNI have condemned the assault of four police officers when they were attacked by young people in West Belfast. At around 6:50pm on Saturday, 06 April, police received a report in relation to community concerns that a large group of young people had congregated in Falls Park and that alcohol was being consumed by children.
