Bennett Begins Redevelopment Work At Primark In Belfast
Contractor Bennett has started construction work to redevelop Primark in Belfast.
The work started on Monday, 22 August, and is expected to be completed in late 2018, Belfast City Centre Management has confirmed.
The redevelopment project on Castle Street includes the demolition of Commonwealth House and the development of a new six-storey retail building providing an extension, which will be refurbished and connected into the existing premises.
The completed scheme will comprise of c48,500 ft2 retail space.

Andersonstown Leisure Centre Closed For Redevelopment Work
A leisure centre in west Belfast has closed for redevelopment work. Belfast City Council is investing £25million in the Andersonstown Leisure Centre, which is expected to open in summer 2019. Members of the centre can use the facilities at other leisure centres in the city at no extra cost.

The scheme, funded by the Department for Communities, has enabled the business to create a new job opportunity, with the participant already in post.
