Security Alert In Portadown Ends

A security alert in Portadown, Co Armagh, has now ended.

A suspicious object was found in the area, however it has been described as "nothing untoward".

Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene in the Upper Church Lane area.

The road was closed but it has since re-opened.

A security alert in west Belfast has ended as police declare a suspicious object in the area as "nothing untoward". Residents on Kells Avenue have now returned to their homes. The operation was sparked shortly before 9.15pm last night, Thursday 05 March.

Security Alert In Newtownabbey Ends
A security alert in Newtownabbey has ended. A number of residents had to be evacuated from their homes in the Mayfield Village area on Thursday, 07 September, after a suspicious object was found. Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and an object has been taken away for forensic examination.
