Pedestrian Killed In L'Derry Crash

A man in his 40s has died after being hit by a car in L'Derry.

The incident happened at on the Glenhead Road at around 6.15pm on Thursday, 27 October.

The driver of the Renault vehicle was arrested, however he has been released pending further enquires.

The road has been re-opened.

Road Closed In North Belfast Following Collision
The Ligoniel Road in north Belfast has closed following a one-vehicle collision. The road has been closed in both directions near the Wolfhill Road, according to the police. Diversions have been put in place and motorists are being advised to avoid the area. No other details have been released.

Man Shot In Thigh
Police are investigating a shooting in Belfast after a man was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The 42-year-old man was shot while outside a taxi depot on the Stewartstown Road on Friday at around 5.45pm.
