200 New Jobs Announced In Galway

Up to 200 new jobs are to be created in Galway by New York-based insurance firm, MetLife.

The company is to create the new jobs are part of an expansion plan in Ireland, which will see them open a new Global Technology Campus.

The new campus is expected to be opened in early 2017, and recruitment for the new IT roles is to begin immediately.

120 New Jobs Created By New Health Training Centre
More than 100 jobs are to be created at a new Connected Health training centre, which has been officially opened on Boucher Road, Belfast,by Health Minister Simon Hamilton. The 120 full and part time jobs will be in the Belfast, Lisburn, and North Down areas and will be implemented over the next 12 months.

120 New Jobs Created In New BT Contact Centre
Northern Ireland has been chosen as the location for a state-of-the-art contact centre, creating around 120 new jobs. Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster and Employment and Learning Minister, Dr Stephen Farry today announced the major investment by BT which is being supported by Invest Northern Ireland through funding of £568,000 under its Jobs Fund.

200 New Jobs For Galway Medical Firm
Leading medical devices firm Merit Medical Systems has created 200 new jobs. The first, which makes products for use in cardiology, radiology and endoscopy, is to take on the new staff at its 20 million euro facility in Parkmore business park in Galway.
