Police Appeal After Two Men Attempt To Rob Shop In Carrickfergus

Police are appealing for information after two men attempted to rob a shop in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.

The men, one armed with a hammer, entered the shop on the Victoria Road at around 6.20pm on Saturday, 19 November, and demanded cigarettes and money.

The pair were wearing hooded tops and had their faces covered.

They made off on foot empty handed.

No-one was injured during the incident.

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Woman Paula Elliott
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of high-risk missing person Paula Elliott, who has now not been seen for three weeks. Paula, 52, was last seen on Tuesday 5th March on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

Former City Centre Police Station To Become New 74-Bedroom Hotel
