Men Armed With Hammer Rob Belfast Shop

Police have issued an appeal for information following an armed robbery of a shop on the Lisburn Road in Belfast.

Two men, one of them armed with a hammer, entered the premises shortly before midnight on Tuesday 24 July. The suspects threatened staff before making off with an unknown sum of cash.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 1603 24/07/2018. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police Appeal Over Attempted Armed Robbery In Ballymena
Police are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery at a shop in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The incident occurred at a shop in the Larne Road area just after 7.40pm on Wednesday. A masked man armed with a knife demanded a staff member to open the till. However, the employee threw water over him and he made off empty handed.

Drugs stolen from west Belfast chemists shop
Police in west Belfast have appealed for information following an armed robbery in a chemists shop yesterday afternoon. Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the premises on Beechmount Avenue at around 1.30pm and demanded prescription drugs.
