Man Killed In Coleraine Road Collision

A man in his 70s has died in a collision in Coleraine.

The Land Rover Jeep he was driving hit a tree on the Curragh Road just after 3pm on Tuesday, 07 March.

The man died at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald sent her condolences.

She said: "Any death on the road is one too many. I would like to express my sympathies to his family and friends of the man who has died as a result of the crash."
