Pensioner Attacked During Aggravated Burglary In Co Down
A pensioner has been injured after he was attacked during an aggravated burglary in Kilkeel, Co Down.
The incident happened at a house in the Slieveshan Park area at around midnight on Tuesday, 28 March.
The victim, who sustained facial and head injuries, was tied up and attacked by a gang of men before covering his head with a pillowcase.
The suspects ransacked the property and it is believed a sum of money was stolen.
The man managed to free himself as soon as the men left the scene and alerted the police.
The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman And Children Held Captive In Aggravated Burglary
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a woman and four young children were held captive as their home was ransacked in an aggravated burglary in East Belfast on Saturday, 06 April. Police received a report that around 10.45pm, four masked men entered a house in the Greenwood Hill area of Castlereagh.

The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of two men at Laganside Crown Court for a number of offences, following a major investigation into the activities of the east Belfast UVF. James McGrogan, aged 37, and 32-year-old Christopher Cullen were both convicted on Thursday 18th April, for a number of drug-related offences.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.
