Armed Gang Assault Teenager In South Belfast

A teenager has been attacked by a gang armed with baseball bats in south Belfast.

The assault occurred in the Maryville street area between 1am and 1.30am on Thursday, 11 May.

The 17-year-old boy sustained facial injuries as well as fractures to his hands, shoulder and legs.

Police described the attack as "reckless".

Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said: "I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident, or knows anything about it, to contact non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 100 of 11/05/17. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Police Appeal After Man Exposes Himself To Teenager At Railway Station
Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a teenager in the Dunmurry area. The incident happened at the Dunmurry railway halt between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday, 25 November. A PSNI spokesperson said: "A male wearing a black and white hat exposed himself to a teenager before leaving the area.

Man Stabbed In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a 35-year-old man was stabbed in an attack in north Belfast on Thursday. The man was assaulted by two men in the early hours, just before 04:20, at Brookhill Avenue. Police said the man was stabbed in his left arm and left leg and also had his wallet taken in the incident.

Woman Dies In One-Vehicle Collision
An 82-year-old woman has died after her vehicle crashed into a skip in south Belfast at the weekend. The woman died on Sunday night after her car hit the skip on Galwally Avenue at about 14:40. Police are investigating the cause of the collision and are appealing for witnesses to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
