Police Appeal After Woman Injured In Crash In East Belfast

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in a collision between a car and a moped in east Belfast.

The crash happened in the Parkgate Avenue area at around 11.25pm on Saturday, 13 May.

The woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "If you feel you have information which may assist with our enquiries, please ring 101 and quote incident number 1246 of 13th May 2017.

"Please take it easy on the roads and be mindful of other road users."

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Woman Dies In Co Fermanagh Crash
A woman has died in a one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Newbridge Road in Derrylin just after midnight on Saturday. Another woman and a man were taken to hospital to be treated. Their injuries are believed to be serious. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Three Arrested In Connection With East Belfast Burglary
Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with an attempted burglary in east Belfast on Monday, 11 March. PSNI officers responded to a report of an attempted break in and criminal damage at a property in the Upper Newtownards Road area.
