Woman Dies In House Fire In L'Derry

A woman has died in a house fire in Co L'Derry.

The blaze was reported at a property in the Grange Park area of Limavady at around 6.25am on Monday, 17 July.

Emergency services attended however the woman, aged in her 50s, was found dead at the scene.

An investigation has been launched.

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald said: "The whole community is shocked by this tragic incident.

"I wish to pay tribute to the emergency services who attended the scene for their professionalism and their efforts."

Part Of M1 Reopens Following Collision
Part of the M1 motorway towards Belfast, which was closed following a four-vehicle collision, has reopened. The crash happened at the Saintfield Road junction on Tuesday morning. Police and the emergency services attended the scene, however no-one is believed to have been injured.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

A 19-year-old man has died after being hit by a train in Lurgan. Police and emergency services attended the scene in the Bells Row area on Monday, 21 May. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police can confirm that the man has tragically died from his injuries. "There are no further details.
