Appeal Issued Over Hit And Run In West Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a hit and run incident in west Belfast.

The incident happened on the Suffolk Road on Friday, 15 September.

The PSNI are seeking to trace a silver or grey car that was involved in the collision.

A pedestrian was injured and had to receive hospital treatment.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "If anyone can help with these enquiries please contact officers at Woodbourne with ref 427 15/9/17."

PSNI Appeal For Information About West Belfast Shooting
The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

Police Appeal After Woman Injured In Crash In East Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in a collision between a car and a moped in east Belfast. The crash happened in the Parkgate Avenue area at around 11.25pm on Saturday, 13 May. The woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.

The PSNI are attending an "ongoing incident" after a fire was reported at a property in west Belfast. The blaze was reported in the Grosvenor Court area just before 9am on Tuesday, 24 January. No-one is believed to have been injured.

Police link hostage incident to attack on police station
Police have linked a gun attack on a police station on Wednesday night with a hostage incident in Co Antrim. A van used in the shooting of Randalstown PSNI station on Wednesday evening is believed to have been the vehicle stolen earlier in the evening from a family who were held hostage by a gang of men at a house in Craigstown Road in the town.
