Four People Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder

Four more people have been arrested over the murder of George Gilmore.

Mr Gilmore, a high-profile loyalist, was shot in the neck in the Woodburn estate in Carrickfergus on 13 March this year.

He died from his injuries the next day in hospital.

A 30-year-old man and three women have been taken to Musgrave Police Station to be questioned.

Top A Level Grades Rise Across NI
As thousands of pupils across Northern Ireland opened their A level results envelope this morning, it was revealed that the amount achieving the top grades has increased slightly. Belfast's Sailortown To Gain New Community Hub
The Sailortown area of north Belfast is to be rejuvenated with a local community hub thanks to over £184,000 of National Lottery funding. The money will be poured into the rundown St Joseph's Church to create the facility and bring local people together.
