Three Charged Following Searches In NI And England

Two men have been charged with money laundering and blackmail.

They were arrested following searches in Northern Ireland, Sussex and Lancashire earlier this week.

The suspects, aged 34 and 54, are to appear before Ennikillen Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 04 October.

A 48-year-old woman was also charged as part of the investigation and is to appear in court later this month.

A 31-year-old woman and another man who were arrested have been released.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'
The lawyer of a senior north Belfast loyalist has warned that he may report the Chief Constable, Sir Hugh Orde, and an unnamed Sunday newspaper editor to the Attorney General for over exposure of his client. Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.
