Bulgarian Man Arrested In NI Over Murder In Native Country

A man from Bulgaria has been arrested in connection with a murder in his native country.

The PSNI detained the suspect in Co Antrim on Sunday, 17 December, after a European Arrest Warrant was issued in Bulgaria.

The 41-year-old appeared before Belfast Recorders Court on Monday, 18 December, and has been remanded in custody.

Man Dies In Strangford Crash
A man in his 60s has died following a crash in Strangford, County Down. The three vehicle collision involved two cars and a motorcycle and happened on the Castleward Road shortly after 11.30am yesterday morning, Sunday 07 April. The route was closed in both directions for some time but has since reopened.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Two Arrested Following Mass Brawl In Ballyclare Area
Two men have been arrested following a disturbance in the Ballyclare area in the early hours of Sunday, 13 May. Police said officers attended the scene on Main Street just after 3am and found around 50 people "fighting amongst themselves".
