Man Stabbed In North Belfast

A man has been injured after being stabbed in north Belfast.

The attack happened on the Antrim Road just after midnight on Friday, 09 February.

A 23-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and a 22-year-old woman sustained a small cut to her face.

The man is receiving hospital treatment.

Sinn Féin Councillor JJ Magee condemned the attack.

He said: "Another young man was violently attacked in north Belfast in the early hours of this morning.

"These brutal attacks have a severely damaging impact on our entire city and must stop immediately.

"Anyone with information about this stabbing should bring it forward to the police immediately."

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

Man Stabbed In West Belfast
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in west Belfast. The attack happened in the Hawthorn Street area at around 1.40pm on Thursday. The victim is believed to be in his 30s. A section of Hawthorn Street was closed and police examined the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Stabbed During Attack In East Belfast
A man, aged in his 40's, has been stabbed during an attack in east Belfast. The victim was chased by a number of men from the Killagan Bend in the Cregagh area area, heading towards the Greenway just after 11 pm on Monday, 03 May. He was stabbed in the back and the head. The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Man stabbed in west Belfast attack
A 32-year-old man has been stabbed in west Belfast shortly after 1am this morning. The man had been walking along the Springfield Road with a male friend when the attack took place. He was admitted to hospital and is being treated for a number of small puncture wounds to the shoulder, neck and lower back as well as tendon damage to the right wrist.
