Appeal Issued For Missing Teenager

Police have issued an appeal to help trace a missing 14-year-old boy.

Ian Carson has been missing from Sunday, 10 June.

He is believed to be in the north or east Belfast areas.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested after a package destined for Northern Ireland containing £12,000 worth of cocaine was intercepted in London. The suspicious post led police to search a property in Enniskillen and arrest the suspect on Monday 07 January.

Money And Jewellery Stolen In Castlereagh Burglary
Valuable items have been stolen during a burglary of a residential premises in Castlereagh on Tuesday 08 January. Police have appealed for information after the break-in on the Ballynahinch Road, sometime between 7.30am and 12.05pm. It was reported that a sum of money and a quantity of jewellery were taken during the incident.

The last month has seen 10 suspected drug-related deaths in the greater Belfast area, sparking concern across the community. PSNI Detective Superintendent Bobby Singleton said while the cause of death is not definitively known, the use of illicit or prescription drugs may have been a factor.

A shop worker in north Belfast was left terrified after a would-be robber threatened to throw acid in her face if she didn't hand over cash. Police are appealing for witnesses following the attempted armed robbery of a shop on Oldpark Road at around 7.15pm on Saturday 05 January.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing man Declan Mawhinney has been found safe and well, according to the police. Mr Mawhinney, 46, went missing from Letterkenny on Saturday at approximately 11.40pm. A missing person appeal was launched by the police and his family. He was located in Letterkenny on Tuesday. Police thank the public for their assistance.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Man Suffers Head Injury In Belfast Assault
A man has suffered a head injury after being attacked by four men in the Friendly Street area of south Belfast. The incident happened at around 7pm on Wednesday 09 January. The victim, aged in his 20's, has been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Four men have been arrested following a seizure of cannabis worth £1million by the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch. Detectives discovered the drugs during searches of two properties in north and west Belfast on Wednesday 09 January, and believe it is connected to the operations of a crime gang from South East Asia.

Police have launched an appeal to help trace a 56-year-old man who was reported missing on Wednesday, 09 December. Mark Crawford from Bangor, Co Down, is believed to frequent Antrim, Newtownabbey, Belfast and North Down areas. He is described as being 6ft tall, medium build, bald with a grey beard.

Police in east Belfast say they are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a 70-year-old man. Alan Bell was last seen leaving his house on the Carol Hill Gardens area of the city at around 9.30am on Tuesday February 21. Police appeal over missing Belfast teenager
Police in West Belfast have appealed for help in tracing 15-year-old Hugh McCabe who has not been seen since New Year's Day. He was last seen in the vicinity of Iris Street by a family member. The missing boy is described as around 5ft 8in in height, of slim build and with green eyes and shaven dark hair.
