Two Arrested In Connection With Assault In Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a serious assault in Co Tyrone.
A man suffered serious injuries during an assault at a property in the Ashfield Garden area of the town at about 5.30pm on Sunday, 01 July.
The man is continuing to be treated in hospital, where his current condition is unknown.
It is understood that two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 1302 01/07/2018. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Man And Woman Arrested In Connection With Serious Assault
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Larne in the early hours of Sunday 27th August. Just after 2.40am, it was reported that a man in his 30s had been stabbed to the torso in the Brustin Brae area. He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are described as serious.
