Gang Of Men Fire Shot At Van In L'Derry

A gang of men have fired a shot at a van in L'Derry.

Another car and van were also damaged in the attack which happened at a residential area of Ballymagroarty on Monday, 02 July.

It is believed around 10 masked men were seen carrying bats and one had a firearm, before the shot was fired at the Transit van which was parked on the road at the time.

The men are thought to have fled on foot.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Investigates Arson Attack In L'Derry
The PSNI have launched an investigation into an arson attack in L'Derry on Monday, 11 March. At around 11.30pm last night, it was reported to police that two vehicles were on fire in the Grainan Drive area. Police and NIFRS attended the scene. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Two other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the fire.

Young Girl Approached In L'Derry
Police are appealing for information after a young girl was approached by men in a van in L'Derry. The incident happened in the Creggan area at around 4.15pm on Wednesday. The nine-year-old girl was walking in the Creggan area when a white van pulled up beside her. One of the three men asked her to get in, however the girl refused and ran home.

Three Arrested Over Machete Robbery
A man has robbed a cash in transit van with a machette in north Belfast. It happened on the Old Park Road at about lunchtime on Monday. Three men aged 24, 44, and 51 have been arrested. A sum of money has been recovered.
