Fatal M2 Crash: Car May Have Been Travelling Wrong Way

Police investigating a fatal crash on the M2 motorway believe a silver car may have been travelling in the wrong direction.

A man died in the collision which happened just before 4pm on Sunday, 22 July.

The PSNI have received reports that the car was going the wrong way on the M2.

Inspector Andrew Wilson said: “I would appeal to anyone who has dash-cam footage of this vehicle, or information relating to this incident, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Sprucefield on 101.

“I also wish to express my thanks to the members of the public who have already come forward and provided us with dash-cam footage and witness accounts leading up to this road traffic collision.”

PSNI Appeal For Information On Fatal Collision Outside Tandragee
The PSNI have named a man who died following a road traffic collision outside Tandragee, as 84-year-old Sidney McIldoon. Mr McIldoon, who was from Portadown, died following a collision between his vehicle and a tractor on Tuesday afternoon, 13th February on the Cornascriebe Road, between Tandragee and Hamiltonsbawn.
