Man Arrested Over Raymond Johnston Murder

Police investigating the murder of Raymond Johnston has arrested a man.

The 41-year-old suspect was detained under the Terrorism Act in the Poleglass area of west Belfast on Tuesday, 07 August.

Mr Johnston, aged 28, was shot in front of his partner and child at his home in the Glenbawn Avenue area on 13 February.

The killing has been blamed on a dissident republican group.

Appeal Over Missing Broughshane Man
Police have appealed to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of a man from Broughshane, Ballymena, County Antrim. Geoffrey Adams, who is 53 years old, was last seen at Antrim Area Hospital on the afternoon of Sunday 8 February. Police have described him as 5' 9", very thin, bald with a grey beard, crooked teeth and a crooked nose.

Brothers receive life for the murder of elderly neighbour
Two brothers have received life sentences at Belfast Crown Court for the murder of their elderly next-door neighbour. Stephen Johnston, 27, of Moyard Park in west Belfast, and his brother Paul, 20, of no fixed address, were convicted of murdering their elderly neighbour Sean May last week.
