Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Intimidation And Criminal Damage

A man has been arrested on suspicion of intimidation and criminal damage.

A number of attacks on homes and cars have forced families to leave the Ballysillan area of north Belfast.

Police Uncover Suspected Cannabis Factory
A suspected cannabis factory has been uncovered by police carrying out a routine enquiry at a house in Antrim. 81 plants that appear to have been recently planted were found in a room covered in silver insulation. Two men were arrested in connection with the discovery, after leaving the door open while officers visited the property.

Two Men Arrested Over West Belfast Burglary
Two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary in west Belfast. The men also attempted to attack the occupant in the property in the Forfar Street area on Sunday morning. The pair, who were armed with wheel braces, smashed the front door and windows, and attempted to assault a man.

Five to appear in court in connecton with Bangor robbery
Five youths are to appear in Downpatrick Magistrates Court today charged in connection with the robbery of an off-licence in Bangor on Tuesday night. Two youths, who entered the premises on the Rathgael Road, assaulted two female members of staff before making off with a sum of money and alcohol.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Third Man Arrested Over Gerard 'Jock' Davison Murder Released
A third man arrested by police investigating the murder of Gerard 'Jock' Davison has been released. Mr Davison, 47, a former IRA Commander, was shot several times in the Markets area of Belfast on Tuesday morning. Three men arrested over the killing have been released unconditionally. Police do not believe the murder was sectarian.
