Reports Of Man Trying To Lure Children Into His Car In North Belfast

An investigation has been launched following reports of a "male acting inappropriately towards children" in North Belfast.

SDLP Councillor for Oldpark, Paul McCusker, said that he had been contacted by concerned parents following incidents in Oldpark and Flax street on Monday, 20 August.

Mr McCusker said that he had made a report to the PSNI, who were investigating.

According to reports, four children, aged between six and 12, were approached by a man in two separate incidents who attempted to lure them into a vehicle.

It is understood that the man had a torch, which he used to attract the children's attention.

Parents have been urged to "be aware and report anything immediately to 101".

Appeal Following Arson Attack In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack at a property in south Belfast. At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Police attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Appeal For Information Following Collision In Ballymoney
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a single vehicle road traffic collision in Ballymoney yesterday, Tuesday 6th February. At around 3.40pm, it was reported to police that a grey Citroen C3 had collided with a pole on the Drones Road.
