Five Men Arrested In Connection With Belfast Stabbing

Five men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Laganbank Road, Belfast, last night, 22 August.

Police were called to the area at approximately 11.45pm after a 18 year old man was stabbed.

The man was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries, which have been described as serious.

Those arrested were aged 21, 24, 31, 35 and 47.

Detective Inspector Paul Wright said: "I would specifically like to appeal to anyone who was on the bridge last night at around 11.30pm/11.45pm and saw four males running across it to contact Detectives at Musgrave, on the non-emergency number 101, as they may have information that could assist us with our enquiries. I would also appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact us also. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Appeal Following Spate Of Burglaries Across Coleraine

Belfast Man Handed Two-Year Stalking Protection Order
The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.
