Shambala Holistic Centre have announced a One Day Yoga Retreat in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

Participants are invited to spend a day in a tranquil setting along the beautiful shores of Upper Lough Erne, immersed in your own yoga practice. Take time to calm & quiet the mind as you deeply relax throughout the day.

• Restorative Reiki Yoga

Snow Patrol Cancel Belfast Shows
Snow Patrol have said they've been forced to cancel two shows in Belfast this week due to illness. The gigs were set to take place on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 at the Waterfront Hall as part of their 'Reworked' tour. They were cancelled just one day after the band said they were "gutted" to have cancelled a show in Dublin.

Thousands Expected To Attend 148th Balmoral Show
Thousands of people from the farming and business sectors are expected to attend the 2016 Balmoral Show. The event is kicking off today, 11 May, at the Eikon Exhibition Centre near Lisburn and will run until Friday, 13 May. It is run by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) and is even bigger than last year.

25 Year Bicycle Strategy For NI Published
A 25 year Bicycle Strategy for Northern Ireland has been published. The strategy has been developed to help transform NI into a cycling society. Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "Over 100 consultation responses were received from organisations and individuals and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their valuable comments.
