Man Attacked During Robbery In Ballymena

Police are appealing for information after a man was left badly shaken after being hit on the head during a robbery at a house in Ballymena.

Three masked men, armed with a hatchet, crowbar and suspected gun, broke in through the window of a property in the Pillar Brae Road area just before 11.45pm on Monday, 17 September.

The suspects stole money and a gold chain was pulled form the victim. He sustained minor injuries.

The men fled from the scene. They were wearing dark clothes, jeans and balaclavas.
