Drowned teenager's body found near Killough pier

The parents of tragically drowned teenager Jordan Murdoch are expected to receive their son's body home today after the process of formally identification is completed.

The body of the 14-year-old boy was found shortly before lunchtime on Sunday, just 200 yards from the spot were he fell into the sea at Killough pier on 11 January.

A woman walking her dog made the discovery near an old sewage pipe a short distance from where the teenager had disappeared three weeks ago.

Jordan, who moved to Killough with his family from south Belfast last year, is expected to be buried in the Co. Down village later this week.
