North Belfast Incident Leads To Arrest

Police have arrested a man after stopping a car in west Belfast on Sunday 18 November, following an incident on Alliance Avenue in the north of the city earlier that evening.

The 35-year-old man was detained on suspicion of a number of offences, including threats to kill and common assault.

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that he remains in custody at this time.

Young Man Dies After Falling From Bicycle Bar In Belfast City Centre

A man has died in hospital after falling from a bicycle bar in Belfast city centre last week.

The incident happened in the Amelia Street area, behind Robinson's bar, at 6.20pm on Wednesday 14 November.

The man, named as Niall Little, died on Sunday 18, police have confirmed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Foo Fighters Announce Belfast Gig

The Foo Fighters have announced a huge Belfast concert at Boucher Road Playing Fields on 19th August next year.

The band, consisting of Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee have sold out stadiums and arenas across the world.

Tickets for the Belfast show will go on sale this Friday, 23 November, at 10am and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

This was the message from Jimmy Birch, a UDA man from east Belfast who was speaking to the BBC as part of a Radio Ulster documentary called 'Inside The Flag Protests'.

Appeal For Missing Man In Belfast
Police are appealing for help in the search for missing man Robert Darling. The PSNI branch in Belfast City Centre is leading the search for the 40-year-old. Robert is around 5ft 8" tall and of medium build. Anyone who sees him or knows where he is has been asked to contact PSNI on 101 - the incident number you need is 874 21/11.

BCC Leader Questions Funding Of West Belfast Festival Over 'Pro-IRA Singing'
The DUP leader of Belfast City Council has questioned the funding of West Belfast Festival over alleged "pro-IRA singing" at one of their events. Councillor Ald Brian Kingston raised the issued after it was alleged that the crowed at a concert at the Festival chanted "ooh ah up the Ra".
