Four Charged With L'Derry Aggravated Burglary

Four men have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in L'Derry.

Two-masked men, one allegedly armed with a suspected gun, forced their way into a house in Hollymount Park in the early hours of Sunday 02 December.

A woman in her 20's was threatened before the pair fled empty handed, making off in a white vehicle.

Inspector Vince Redmond said: "Officers responded immediately and as a result of their enquiries located a white Kia Sportage in the Cecilia's Walk area and arrested four men."

Three suspects, aged 25, 31 and 34 have been charged with aggravated burglary with intent to steal.

The 31-year-old has also been charged with driving while disqualified and driving a motor vehicle without insurance.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with aiding and abetting aggravated burglary with intent to steal, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a firearm or an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence

The men are due to appear before L'Derry Magistrates Court on Monday 03 December.

Four Men Sentenced Over Co Antrim ATM Thefts
Four men have been sentenced in connection with a series of ATM thefts in the County Antrim area over four years ago. The investigation related to a number of ATM thefts between 27th October 2018 and 6th December 2019, including the theft of two cash machines at a supermarket on Castle Way in Antrim.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.

Appeal Following Attempted Kidnapping In Belfast City Centre
Three men have been arrested in connection with an attempted kidnapping in Belfast City Centre on Tuesday, 16 April. Police have said that officers were on patrol in the Bruce Street area shortly after 12.05pm when they observed an altercation between a number of men.
