Police Probing Suspicious Approach To Child
Police are currently investigating a report of a suspicious approach to a young child in south Belfast.
The incident in the Ormeau Road and Sunnyside Street area is understood to have happened at around 4pm on Thursday 24 January.
A PSNI spokesperson said the man, dressed all in black, was believed to be walking at the time with no mention of a car involved.
The child targeted was primary school age.
"If you witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time please contact police," the officer added.
Contact can be made using non-emergency line 101, quoting reference 980 of 24 January.
Appeal After Attempted Street Robbery
Police have issued an appeal to passing motorists after a teenager was subjected to an attempted street robbery earlier this month.
The 16-year-old was walking on Somerton Road, north Belfast, at around 5.30 in the afternoon on Friday 11 January, when he was approached by two men.
Both suspects were reportedly wearing dark tracksuits.
A passing car is believed to have disturbed the assailants in their attempted crime.
The vehicle was driving along Somerton Road and turned down Fortwilliam Parade, startling the pair.
"Were you driving this car?" a spokesperson asked.
"Did you see anything? Has someone you know mentioned this to you?
"Any help would be much appreciated."
Large Amount Of Cash Stolen From Parked Car In Newry
A large amount of cash has been stolen from a parked car in Newry.
The incident happened at around midday on Friday 25 January on the city's Forkhill Road.
Police said a "stocky male with black hair" stole the money and fled the scene in a black old style Astra, which possibly had the registration number 03W2381.
Anyone with information which may be of use to detectives, or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact detectives on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 508 250119.

Two Die In Road Accidents
Two men have died in separate road accidents. On Sunday, a man was killed when his car collided with another vehicle on Banbridge Road, Dromore, at around 6pm. A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been released on police bail. In a separate incident, a man, understood to be in his 40s, has died in Co Armagh.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
