Eighth Arrest In Ian Ogle Murder Investigation
An eighth suspect has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a Belfast community worker.
45-year-old Ian Ogle was stabbed 11 times by a group of men on Sunday night, 27 January.
A 21-year-old man arrested on Wednesday has been released on bail pending further enquiries, while a 22-year-old man remains in custody.
The most recent arrest saw a 36-year-old man detained at Musgrave Station for questioning.
One line of inquiry being pursued by officers investigating the murder is that members of the east Belfast UVF were responsible.
Six other people arrested in connection with the murder, including four men and two women, have all also been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Mr Ogle was attacked as he prayed with a pastor on a street near his home in Cluan Place.
More than 1,000 people attended a vigil in his memory on Wednesday 30 January which brought the Albertbridge Road to a standstill.

Warning Issued After Thousands Lost To Gift Card Scam
The PSNI have issued a warning after a L'Derry resident lost thousands of pounds in a gift card scam. According to police, the person was contacted online and told that they had won money. They were told they needed to send online gift cards to verify themselves. This continued for some time before the scam was spotted and stopped.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Second Man Charged In Ian Ogle Murder Probe
A man has been charged with the murder of Ian Ogle in east Belfast following his arrest at Manchester Airport over the weekend. Mr Ogle, a father of two, died after he was attacked and stabbed in the street near his home in Cluan Place on Sunday 27 January.

Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the attempted murder of a two PSNI officers. The suspects, aged 29 and 32, have been detained under a European Arrest Warrant. The arrests were in connection with a bomb discovered attached to a police officer's vehicle in L'Derry in June 2015.
