Second Man Charged In Ian Ogle Murder Probe

A man has been charged with the murder of Ian Ogle in east Belfast following his arrest at Manchester Airport over the weekend.

Mr Ogle, a father of two, died after he was attacked and stabbed in the street near his home in Cluan Place on Sunday 27 January.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on Sunday 03 March and brought to Northern Ireland for questioning.

Police have now confirmed that he has been charged with murdering the 45-year-old and will appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today, 06 March.

While 15 people have been arrested and questioned in connection with the murder, only one other person has been charged.

33-year-old Jonathan Brown, from McArthur Court in Belfast, appeared in court last month and denies murdering Mr Ogle.

It it understood that police were called at approximately 4.10pm on Monday 08 April, to reports of the "sudden death"of an elderly man at a quarry in the Newcastle Road area of Seaforde.

A man and three boys have been seriously injured in a one vehicle crash in County Fermanagh, according to the PSNI. The collision involving a white Mitsubishi L200 Titan happened on the A32 Mossfield Road, Enniskillen, at 11.15am on Sunday 31 March.

Man Arrested In Connection With Banbridge Shooting
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Banbridge on Friday 12 April. Detectives investigating the shooting incident carried out a search of two properties in the Mullaghbawn and Banbridge areas on Wednesday, 17 April.
