Further Arrest In Wayne Boylan Murder Probe

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder as police continue to investigate the death of Wayne Boylan.

The 37-year-old father of two was shot dead last month when two gunmen burst into a house on the Lower Dromore Road in Warrenpoint on Friday 18 January.

The victim died after he was shot in the head.

A 21-year-old woman was also seriously injured in the attack as she was struck in the face and neck.

An earlier suspect, a 44-year-old man, was released on police bail pending further enquiries on Wednesday 13 February.

Man Shot Dead At Family Home In West Belfast
A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.

Body Of Man Shot Dead By Army To Be Exhumed
The body of a man shot dead by an army unit over 40 years ago is to be exhumed as part of a legacy investigation. Daniel Rooney, 18, was killed by soldiers from the Military Reaction Force (MRF) in west Belfast on 26 September in 1972.
