Man Dies After Suffering Unexplained Head Injuries

A 43-year-old man has died after he was found in a house in L'Derry with unexplained head injuries.

The man, who has not yet been named, was found at the property in the Grafton Street area of the city on Tuesday morning, 26 March.

He was in critical but stable condition in hospital, but police have since confirmed that he sadly passed away this morning, Thursday 28.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Enquiries into how the deceased sustained his injuries are ongoing, and police have urged anyone with information to contact detectives at Strand Road on 101.
