Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Lurgan Stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Lurgan.

It comes after a man in his 20s was left in critical condition when he was attacked in the Shankill Street area of the town on Monday morning.

The 26-year-old was due to appear before Lisburn Magistrate's Court this morning, Tuesday 23 April.

As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Man Charged Over Stabbing
A 23-year-old man has been charged by police over a stabbing incident in Belfast at the weekend. He has been charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and having an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
