Appeal For Information After Lisburn Burglary

Police are appealing for information following reports of a burglary in Lisburn.

Two men entered a property in the Causeway Meadows area of Lisburn at around 7.20pm on Wednesday 24 April.

Two young people are understood to have locked themselves in a room and raised the alarm.

It is not believed anything was taken. Police are investigating and have appealed to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact detectives in Lisburn on 101, quoting reference 1205 of 24/04/19.

A young boy managed to escape injury after he picked up the remains of a pipe bomb in L'Derry, according to police. The device was found in a garden at Curlew Way in the Clooney area on Tuesday 21 May. It is believed to have detonated prior to the child picking it up.

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information following a spate of break-ins in the city over the past six weeks. Around seven homes in the Ballinderry are have been robbed during daylight hours and a number of gardening equipment, including lawnmowers have been taken.

Police Appeal Following Burglaries In Lisburn And Dunloy
Police have launched an investigation following a burglary at a house in Lisburn. The incident happened in the Saintsbury Avenue area sometime between 8pm and midnight on Saturday, 30 April. A sum of cash, a gold bracelet and a number of Royal Dalton figurines were stolen.

Police are appealing to witnesses following a fatal crash in Lisburn on Friday. Neil Graham, 24, died when his motorbike crashed with a car in the Woodland Park area. The female driver suffered minor injuries. Lisburn Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police re-issue appeal in hunt for David Taggart
Police in Lisburn have re-issued their appeal for information concerning the whereabouts of 24-year-old man who absconded from court last week. David Taggart, who is described by police as a 'high risk' prisoner, escaped from Lisburn Courthouse last Tuesday.
