Man Hospitalised After North Belfast Stabbing

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was reportedly stabbed in North Belfast last night, 06 May.

The incident happened at a house on Alliance Avenue in Ardoyne at around 8.45pm.

The man suffered a cut to the head and is now being treated at Mater Hospital.

Police have urged anyone who has any information that can assist with their investigation to contact officers in Tennent Street Police Station on 101 quoting reference 1175 06/05/19. Alternatively information can be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Man Wanted In Lithuania Arrested In Magherafelt
The PSNI have arrested a 23-year-old man in Magherafelt wanted in Lithuania to face charges of human trafficking. The man was arrested by officers from the Police Service's local policing team in Magherafelt, with assistance from the International Policing Unit. Appeal For Information On North Belfast Stabbing
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a stabbing incident in north Belfast. According to police, a man was stabbed in the chest in an the Queen Victoria Gardens area at around 23:45 last night. The victim is being treated in hospital for "non life threatening injuries".

Two men die in separate stabbing incidents
Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.

Appeal For Information And Witnesses To Belfast Stabbing
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a stabbing in Belfast in the early hours of Sunday 15th October. At around 2.25am, police received a report of a stabbing outside a fast food shop in the Dublin Road area.
