Teen Avoids Injury In Lisburn Shooting

A couple and their teenager daughter have avoided injury after a shotgun was fired through the window of their home in Lisburn.

The shooting happened in the Hillhall Park area of the town, shortly after midnight on Tuesday 21 May.

PSNI Detective Constable Kennedy said: "Damage was caused to a living room window by what would appear to be a single shot fired from a shotgun.

"A couple and their 15-year-old daughter were in the house at the time, but thankfully no one was injured as a result of this totally reckless act."

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the gun attack, or who has any information that could assist with the investigation to contact them on 101.

Two men have escaped injury following a petrol bomb attack at a house in Ballymena. The incident happened shortly before midnight on Edward Street on Thursday, 28 September. The living room window of the property was smashed and a petrol bomb was thrown inside and caused smoke damage to the curtains.

Shots Fired At House In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in north Belfast. The attack happened in the Upper Meadow Street area just before 7.25pm on Wednesday, 11 October. A man, aged in his 30s, was inside the house at the time, however he was not injured but was left shaken.

Shots Fired At House In L'Derry
The PSNI have described a gun attack at a house in Co L'Derry as "sheer recklessness and a disregard for human life". Shots were fired at a property in the Clon Eagh area at around 10.20pm on Tuesday, 03 October. No-one was in the property at the time of the incident.
