NI Prepare For Euro Showdown In Belarus

Northern Ireland will be hoping to continue their faultless start to the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign as they gear up to face Belarus tonight.

The last time the two sides met, Northern Ireland grabbed a 2-1 victory at Windsor Park.

The national team have secured a maximum nine points from three games in qualifying, with the previous home victory against Belarus and two wins against Estonia.

A late winner from Josh Magennis saw NI claim a 2-1 victory in Estonia over the weekend.

The team currently sits top of Group C, with Germany and the Netherlands trailing behind on six and three points respectively. Both teams have a game in hand.

NI have yet to face both European giants, with home and away matches scheduled to take place before the end of the year.

They will head to Germany on the final matchday on 19 November with hopes of clinching a place in next year's European Championships.
