Appeal After Elderly Lady Knocked Down In East Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a collision which saw an elderly lady knocked down in Belfast.

A black van reversed into the lady in the disabled parking bay area at Connswater Shopping Centre at around 2pm on Thursday 04 July.

Police are working to establish the details of the collision. Two males in the van reportedly emerged and helped the lady to her feet, however no details were exchanged.

A Belfast driver has been left shaken after his vehicle was hijacked at knifepoint. Police are appealing for information following the incident in the Gardiner Street area of north Belfast on Thursday morning, 16 January.

Man Jailed For Drugs Offences
A 36 year-old man from west Belfast will spend over a year behind bars for a number of drug related offences. John Paul McGuinness was handed a custodial sentence at Belfast Crown Court on Monday 13 January following the seizure of cocaine worth approximately £20,000. He will serve 32 months, half of which is to be spent on licence.

Wayne Boylan: £10k Reward Offered Amid Murder Probe
A £10,000 reward for information has been offered on the first anniversary of the brutal murder of Wayne Boylan in Co Down. The 37 year-old was gunned down while enjoying an evening with friends in Warrenpoint on 18 January 2019.
