West Belfast Shop Targeted In Armed Robbery

A sum of money has been stolen during an armed robbery of a shop in west Belfast.

Two men, one armed with a suspected firearm, entered a shop in the Jasmine End area of Dunmurry at around 6.25am this morning, 15 August.

The pair made off with the money in a red Renault Megan which was found burnt out in Beechmount Grove a short time later.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 214 of 15/18/19. Information can also be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
