Vandals Target Co Antrim Business

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to a business premises in Co Antrim.

A number of windows were smashed, and some covered in graffiti, at a commercial property on the Slaughterford Road in Whitehead.

Police released details after the incident on Friday 27 September and are interested in a dark coloured BMW that was spotted in the area around the time of the damage.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "If this was you, or if you have any information on this incident please contact police via 101 quoting reference 440 28/09/19."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The PSNI have asked West Midlands Police to investigate an alleged domestic incident at the home of Police Ombudsman Marie Anderson. It is understood that officers attended a "report of a domestic incident" at an address in Co Down on Saturday, September 23, at around 6.30pm.

Police link hostage incident to attack on police station
Police have linked a gun attack on a police station on Wednesday night with a hostage incident in Co Antrim. A van used in the shooting of Randalstown PSNI station on Wednesday evening is believed to have been the vehicle stolen earlier in the evening from a family who were held hostage by a gang of men at a house in Craigstown Road in the town.

Concrete slabs damage lorries in Banbridge
Police in Banbridge are appealing for information following an incident where slabs of cement were thrown at lorries. The blocks were hurled at three lorries on the Cascum Road Bridge on the A1, outside Banbridge. The drivers all escaped injury, however their vehicles were damaged.

Arson attack in Dunmurry
Police in Dunmurry have appealed for information following an arson attack at a factory in the area over the weekend. The Fire and Rescue service, along with police were called to the Kilwee Industrial estate in the town at around 2.
