Teen Stabbed In Fermanagh Murder Bid
A 13 year-old girl is in critical condition after she was stabbed at a house in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh.
Police are treating the incident as attempted murder.
Two females suffered stab wounds during the ordeal on Saturday 16 November. A baby was also in the house at the time and was left unharmed.
Police received a report at around 9.15pm that a number of males, armed with machetes, had forced entry to a house and attacked the pair.
The teenage girl sustained serious stab wounds and remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 41 year-old woman was also treated for stab wounds to her leg but has since been discharged from hospital.
Detective Sergeant Keith Monaghan said: "This must have been a terrifying ordeal for those involved and we are determined to find the men responsible. We have several lines of enquiry which we are progressing at this time but I would ask anyone with information or who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives in Enniskillen and pass that information on."
Police can be contacted on 101 using reference number 1650 of 16/11/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.
