Man Due In Court Over Craigavon Murder

A man charged with the murder of 25 year-old Nathan Gibson last week is due to appear in court.

The 40 year-old will appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court today, Monday 20 January.

Mr Gibson was discovered in the Lake Road area of Craigavon late on Thursday 16 January.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is normal procedure.

Police have appealed to any witnesses who may have been in the area on Thursday night to come forward.

Youths Attack Man In Racist Hate Crime
A man has been left injured after he was set upon by a group of youths in a "nasty" hate crime. Police are appealing for witnesses following the serious assault in the Dunvale area of Ballymena on Saturday night, 15 February. The victim, aged in his thirties, was leaving an address in the area with another male at around 11.

Man Released Over Malcolm McKeown Murder
A man arrested over the murder of Malcolm McKeown at a petrol station in Co Down last August has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service. The 27 year-old was detained in Belfast yesterday, Wednesday 19 February. Mr McKeown, aged 54, was found dead in his car outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August.

Ice Cream Van Stolen In Belfast
Two men have been arrested following the theft of an ice cream van in west Belfast. The crime spree on Tuesday night, 18 February also involved an assault on a member of the public and a collision with a parked vehicle. The suspects, aged 23 and 28, remain in custody.
