Two Arrested After Men Stabbed In Co Tyrone

Two men have been arrested following a stabbing in Moy, Co Tyrone.

Three males were targeted as they left a licensed premises in The Square area at around 1.20am on Sunday morning, 01 March.

One of the victims, aged 31, sustained a serious stab wound to his abdomen as a result. He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is described as stable.

Meanwhile, two others aged 27 and 33, sustained a number of injuries that also required treatment in hospital.

The suspects were detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

The two males, aged 18 and 20, remain in custody.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area of The Square and who may have witnessed the incident to contact them in Cookstown on 101 quoting reference 137 01/03/20.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Three released on bail over city attack
Three males arrested in connection with a serious assault in west Belfast last weekend, have been released on bail pending further inquiries. The arrests were made in connection with an attack on a man aged in his 20s, outside a bowling club on the Andersonstown Road area of the city at around 11.30pm last Friday night.

Marathon organisers warn of traffic disruption
Organisers of this year's 22nd Belfast City Marathon are warning motorists of the expected traffic disruption throughout most of Bank Holiday Monday. Disruption can be expected along the routes of both the main Belfast City Marathon and the associated Fun Run which begins at City Hall.
