Masked Men Fire Shots In L'Derry

Police say it's lucky no-one was injured after a number of shots were fired in L'Derry.

Masked men are reported to have fired the shots in the Ballymagroarty area of the city at around 9pm on Wednesday 04 March.

An investigation is ongoing.

Inspector Spence said: "We are extremely lucky that no-one was injured as a result of this incident which occurred in a residential area.

"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who has information that could assist police with their enquiries to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 1892 of 04/03/20 or Crimstoppers on 0800 555 111."

Police say it is fortunate no one was injured after masked men fired shots at a house in Coleraine. The pair targeted a house in the Loughanhill Park area of the town at around 11.30pm on Sunday 09 February. It's understood a number of shots were fired.
